Safety Day...

David and I recently participated in Lowe's latest "Build and Grow" project, a fire truck. David was very excited to get his apron and googles on again and he was really pumped when he saw that he was getting to build a fire truck. David was very careful not to hit my fingers and did a good job hammering!

Things really started heating up when a Yukon Fire Department truck arrived followed shortly by a Yukon PD car and K-9 unit. David could barely contain himself! However, that was not the end of the proceedings. As David was finishing his building project, a Life Flight helicopter flew over and landed in the parking lot! We spent the rest of our time exploring the knooks and crannies of all the vehicles on display! It was a great way to spend the morning!
